design Proposal drawing becomes a masonry heater with bakeoven and woodbox. Francestown, New Hampshire, USA.

Fireplaces
We build open fireplaces "from scratch", as well as "torparugnar" (single-walled masonry heaters without tiles).

Masonry Heaters
The north american masonry heater is a design of finnish origin. It is generally known as the "Contraflow". It weighs about three tons and can be faced with a variety of masonry materials, ie. plaster, clay, bricks, soapstone, or other natural stone. The "guts" are always refractory material to withstand high temperatures. It works like a tile stove except it is heavier and can heat the whole house by itself.

Bakeovens
We build wood-fired bakeovens of any size. The smallest is generally 45cm x 60cm for home baking. The largest so far is 4,6 square meters of baking surface. This is our double deck production oven for small commercial bakeries. This design accomodates the requirements of the swedish health regulations and incorporates the use of german loading planks.
